It is without a doubt that money has a place in this world, and alhamdullilah Allah has blessed many of us alumni with suitable incomes that leave us more than enough to spare. Hopefully, we can convince you to spare some of that extra cash with us!

Donate to the Islamic Center of Bryan College Station (ICBCS):

We'd like to encourage every one of our members of the Aggie Muslim Alumni Association to make a donation to the Islamic Center of Bryan College Station (ICBCS). For those of us who attended A&M in College Station (everyone minus the Qatar folk), we should all be keen to remember the enriching experiences we had while members of ICBCS. Our migration away from Bryan-College Station should not leave us forgetting the multitude of benefits we drew from the community. As students, most of us were limited in the financial resources we could call our own. Now that we are alumni, however, we have the resources to repay our debts to our old masjid.

Note: ICBCS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means that all donations offered to the masjid are tax-exempt. Yet, another reason to contribute to your old community! 

Contribute to the AMAN web maintenance fund:

We hope you're beginning to see the value in the AMAN organization and its website. If you're so willing, you can help us out by contributing to our web maintenance fund. 

We're currently  collecting contributions for the purpose of paying future web domain and hosting costs. Currently we pay around $8.00 a month to maintain this website. It's not too steep... but, it does add up.

However! We can drop our monthly rate considerably if we pay in bulk. The rate goes down to around $4.00 if we pay for 3-years of service. Overtime this would lead to a huuuge difference--one for which we'd see the gains of shifting within the same year ($8 plan: $96/year; $4:00 plan: $48/year).  Just to let you know: We'll be paying regardless... but if you'd like to help it would certainly be appreciated! You can use the Paypal link on the right to make your donation.

Where did the other goals go?

**If you visited our site during its early conception, you may have noticed that our donation page was significantly more extensive that it is now. We had originally proposed the idea that donations would also be used for the purpose of our scholarship fund and "Semester Cause" project. However, we were recently informed by PayPal that we cannot accept donations for the purpose of funding scholarships or other humanitarian projects, until we become a registered nonprofit. This inadequacy on our part is something we hope to take care of in the near future, but for the moment we are limited to exclusively soliciting donations for the purpose of the web maintenance fund.
